What I’ve Learned About Learning

September 21st, 2004 by Andrew

Remember in elementary school how they tried to cram all those good study skills into your brain? Yeah, I never paid attention to that stuff. But recently, I’ve found out that you can learn more, when you’re organized, take notes, sometimes listen, and maybe even do some homework.

Also, it helps to have a very busy schedule, so that you don’t have time for fun, which in turn somehow makes you get everything done on time. I don’t know how that one works. Someone may have to explain that to me. Why is it, that when you have less fun, you get more done? That’s a very disturbing theory, but it works.

I’m taking 2 math and 2 compsci courses this semester. It promises to be a fun semester of constant homework and discussion classes and quizzes. I can’t wait until it’s over.
