Where’d September go?
It seems to me that the first month of the semester just flew right by, and now I’m knee deep in classes, without even a trace of the shorts and sunglasses of summer. I guess I’m just too busy to even bother with keeping track of time. I just go about my daily business, and nothing more.
I’ve also realized, that I don’t post anything really or important, or anything that’s on the tip of my tongue wanting to get out. It’s more like I post when it’s convenient, or I’m bored. It’s more of a time filler when I do get a chance at some free time, and I have nothing else to do.
Also, I’ve got this really neat contraption which plays music and holds up to 5,000 songs. You may have heard of it, it’s called the iPod. Alex got sneaky, and somehow got people to pay for it without me noticing, so now I have an iPod. Usually she can’t hide anything, and she’s obvious when something’s up her sleeve, so I don’t know how she got this one past me.
Next week I have 2 tests. Count them: 2. That’s crazy. One of them is in Multivariate Calculus, and the other is Linear Algebra. Sounds like fun, right? Wrong. The Linear Algebra exam is the dumbest thing ever. We have classes on mondays and wednesdays, and the test is next wednesday (because of the holiday) so today is the last review for the exam, until we have the exam a week from today. Isn’t that the stupidest idea ever? Yeah, I think so.
So my birthday was September 25th, and the band was at a home football game that day. I decided I wanted to be a cannon boy that day, since it was the last football game that wasn’t going to be cold. Of course, this was a mistake, since I injured my shoulder while performing routine circus-like acts. In short, I’m in a sling for a month, and I have lots of pills to take, and I won’t be marching for awhile. I did happen to find a picture of myself at that particular game, pre-injury, which was during halftime. Enjoy.
This was rather long-winded, but there’s lots of cool and not so cool stuff that’s been happening. I also need filler for my web page, since it’s always rather barren. I also think I need some way of “signing off” on my posts. Lots of things are taken, so I’ll have to think about it. For now, I’ll just say:
