Sunday while I was home in Westfield, I finally made the hike up the mountain, and took some pictures off the edge of the rock outcropping that’s there. It’s a great spot for pictures, because there are no trees in front of you, and you can see everything. The Hampton Ponds are right in front of you, and Barnes Airport is stretched out across the left side of the horizon.
It took me approximately a total of 3 hours to walk up there and back to my car. It’s a huge hike, and on the way up, I didn’t exactly follow a trail, I just kind of walked literally through the woods. If you want to see the pictures from the bottom at McLean and from the top of the Mountain, go here.
