Separation of Bush and State
August 4th, 2005 by Andrew
Bush is at it again. Why can’t he just leave things alone that he doesn’t understand? Bush is promoting the teaching of “intelligent design” in public schools. “Intelligent design”, to quote the article, is basically “creationism in a cheap tuxedo.” In other words, he wants to teach the religious belief that some supreme being created humans, despite there being no scientific evidence. Intelligent design in Bush’s view should be a competing theory against evolution. This is like saying that the myth about the moon being made of cheese should be taught alongside the fact that the moon really isn’t made out of the best dairy product on earth. I’m tired of dumb people.
