The Ghosts download spent 3 hours at 16KB/s. Suddenly it shot up to 300KB/s, and now I have it, 8 hours ahead of schedule. Awesome.

IE8 will run in "standards mode" by default rather than having to explicitly tell it NOT to render like IE7. Microsoft actually listened!
